Intuitively Crafted Crystal Grid Process
It starts with a feeling, maybe a moment where I can’t stop thinking about an intention or maybe a word or a stone. Let’s use a recent grid I made for example. This one is focused on protection, I made it with the vision of it near a door or in the middle of a home with the quartz points sending the energy to the front and back. However it ends up it will be perfect and protect whoever it goes home with!
But here is how I came up with the idea and made it!
I kept thinking about snowflake obsidian & protection. Then as I am walking through Michael’s a string of funky snowflake obsidians catch my eye. I walked the isles a little more but kept feeling a pull towards them and it made sense so I go them and headed home.
The grid process begins with basically anointing, cleansing and giving the canvas it’s purpose. I do this by simply writing the intentions on the canvas and cleanse it with some selenite.
Next comes crafting! I simply follow my hands, heart & mind’s eye with this. This is where I feel what colors feel right, how to form the colors. For this grid I wanted dark colors but also knew that I wanted to keep it not too black. The metallic details were simply following that intuition. Silver representing the moon & gold for the sun. Bringing balance and harmony to this grid.
Then comes feeling out the stones. Besides the obvious snowflake obsidian, I knew that smoky quartz and clear quartz were a must for this grid.

5. I begin by just going through all my little boxes and bags of stones. I pull out anything that calls to me and set it on my little tray.
6. All the stones get cleansed and then I start laying them on the grid! As a Libra I am very much a fan of balance so most of my grids are balanced and somewhat symmetrical.
7. The stones get cleansed on the grid while I send a bit more intention to it. Then they are glued down and boom, grid done. Then a clear coat and done she is!
